Changelog
Every change since launch, newest first.
October 2026
A new face for Knol
A new cloud logo across the app. The bot mascot is now a living cloud that breathes and blinks.
Endurance is now Knol
Our new home is knol.app, and the code now lives at github.com/knolbot. The old endurance.skcript.com address keeps working.
Integrations
The homepage and /integrations list the apps bots can connect in one click.
Quotes, threads and web search
Quote a message in your reply, or start a new thread from it. Threads get titles from what they are about, you can mention teammates and bots in a bot chat, and bots on Gemini can search the web and link their sources.
Better messages and images
Headings, quotes and dividers now show in chat. Images shrink before upload so they send faster, show a placeholder while loading, and your message appears at once with a sending indicator in a restyled message box.
Longer tool work
A bot can now use up to 40 tool steps in one reply, up from 8, and your budget is checked between steps. Gemini bots give fewer empty replies, and one message can be up to 100,000 characters.
iPhone app catches up
The iPhone app, in internal testing, gains quotes, threads, mentions in Needs you, and sending and viewing images.
Meet The One
Every team now has a default bot, listed first. It can create bots and rooms for you once you approve each one, and can improve any bot you are allowed to edit.
Morning check-ins
On weekday mornings, The One checks in when something is waiting on you. If nothing is, you get no message. Use Check in now at any time.
Search past messages
Find messages from your chats and rooms in the command palette, then jump straight to them.
Clearer bot-to-bot work
Messages between bots show as a quiet line you can open to read the whole exchange. The sidebar shows what a bot is doing while it works.
Plain errors, faster approvals
Model errors now read as a plain sentence and are reported to us on their own. Allow all and Deny all clear your approvals at once, rooms show an unread dot, and empty chats offer starter prompts.
OpenAI tools and stuck replies
Replies on OpenAI models that use tools now work. A reply stuck for 15 minutes now fails and says so, and an out-of-credit key says so too.
Sturdier webhook triggers
A webhook sent twice with the same delivery id starts the automation once. A wrong key or a paused automation gets the same answer as an unknown one.
First iPhone build for testers
The first build of the iPhone app went out to our internal testers.
Automations
Run a bot on a schedule, or start it from another tool with a webhook, and manage them all on the Automations screen. You get an email when a bot is waiting on you or your budget runs low.
Approvals and rules
Bots ask before they act, and you choose Allow, Always allow or Deny. Rules can block risky actions and be tested against past activity, and API keys go in a vault.
Your models and your budget
Bring your own key for OpenAI, xAI, Anthropic or a custom provider, and pick a model per bot or per chat. Set a monthly budget and see usage on a dashboard.
Connectors and access
Connect tools just for you or for the whole team, from presets or with your own OAuth app. Each bot can be open to everyone, selected people or only you.
Bots that learn and remember
Bots keep memory for you, for themselves and for your company, and get to know you the first time you talk. A bot can rewrite its own instructions after you confirm, with earlier versions kept.
Live updates, on any screen
Replies and changes appear as they happen, and the app fits a phone screen. A native iPhone app with push notifications and widgets is on the way.
Mentions, replies and bug reports
Typed @mentions reach the right bot, replies no longer show twice, and Mark all read clears everything it should. Report a bug from the message box or the command palette.
